Dirasa 2010 - Disclaimer

By applying for the Dirasa 2010, you hereby legally grant the organizers the permission to arrange an Umrah trip for you – if your application is accepted – within the following boundaries:

• To book a flight ticket in your name from London/Oslo/Copenhagen/Stockholm to Jeddah/Medina – with a return flight from Jeddah/Medina to London/Oslo/Copenhagen/Stockholm. Date of departure will be 27th, 28th, 29th, 30th of June/ 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th of July. The return will be approx 2 weeks after departure.
• The exact dates and timing for travelling will be communicated to you after the booking of flight tickets has been placed, and will most likely be non-refundable. You must therefore be sure that you are able to travel on the above range of dates.
• To book a bed in your name at the hotels in Mecca and Medina. 1, 2, 3 or 4 persons will stay in each room.
• The legally binding purchase will be between you and the travellers agencies the organizers have selected.
• The total price for the four elements (flight, hotel&transportation, visa and the foreseen fee for the teacher’s transport) shall not exceed 14.000 NOK unless a new approval is granted from you.
• Extra costs like teaching material, food and shopping etc is subject to your own discretion.
• The organizers will choose the number of days to stay in Mecca and the number of days to stay in Medina.
• The organizers are not a part of any type of dispute between the buyer (you) and sellers (agencies), and the transaction of money will take place between the buyer and sellers.
• The initiative of the trip is private. We represent neither an organisation nor any commercial company. Thus, the organizers do not have and do not take any kind of economic responsibility for problems during the trip, but we will of course assist in terms of finding solutions to any potential problem.
• The organizers can not be held liable if your own and/or your guardian/Mahrim’s visa is not granted by the Saudi authorities, or if the passport is not returned by the Saudi authorities before departure from the embassy/agency.

The organizers are not selling anything, not a trip nor a package consisting of transport, hotels and so on. We are merely facilitating a trip with a teacher for a group of students. The teacher does not earn any money on this trip. However, as good students; the group of students will cover all cost of transportation, visa and accommodation for him. This includes both the foreseen and unforeseen costs. By applying, you agree to commit yourself to pay your share – if your application is accepted.

It is your sole responsibility to apply for the visa, pay the flight tickets directly to the travel agency in addition to pay for the bed etc. We will however – assist you in all steps – and give you directions in how and when to do it.

Because of illness in the close family of the teacher, there is a remote chance that the teacher might not be able to travel for the Umrah. If this happens, it is important to remember this:

· a refund of the teacher’s transportation fee (approx 1000 NOK/ 100 £) will only be possible if the traveller’s agencies are able to refund any money for the cancellation

· the group will still be able to travel, but there will not be any classes

· the organizers will still make their best efforts to make the trip memorable and beneficial inshAllah – and help the first-time goers to perform Umrah

Also, by applying, you hereby agree to participate in all the mandatory events during and prior to the travel.

• There will be 2 -3 mandatory events prior to travel for a total of maximum 6 hours, where the groups will meet in each country and receive information and get to know each other. Participants will be informed of the timings for these events well in advance.
• The schedule during the travel will include mandatory events such as classes and ziyarats (visiting of historically significant places). There will also be a few non-mandatory events.

The website MuslimPhotos.net is only being used for marketing purposes. The website itself is not linked with the Umra trip other than it being registered and run by the coordinator of the Umrah trip.
